A lonely heart

This project was one of my favorites, I usually dont work well with paint but this worked out pretty good. If I were to do this project over again I dont think I would change anything. 

I will protect

This project started out as a doodle and then became a picture of symbols. The hands are a shield of protection around the heart, even though they might not be the strongest they will do whatever it takes to protect it. I feel like I did alright on this project. Everything seemed to work. If I had to consider any changes on this project I would add more color to it.

World

This piece was kind of fun, I enjoyed splattering the paint. I feel a bit unsuccessful because the paint has some cracks in it which is what didn't work, everything else seemed to work out perfectly. If I were to do this project over again i would use maybe different paint that doesn't crack easy. The most difficult part was not getting paint everywhere when splattering it onto the canvas.

     This piece is a drawing of a deer I made because my dad enjoys hunting and this has been my first year he has took me out to go hunting. I think that this project was difficult in a way because I used oil pastels and it smears easily. I feel successful but again I could have done better though I know my dad loves it. One thing that didnt work was blending the colors but the rest worked out. If I were to do this project over again I would have did this project in black and white and shaded it. The most difficult part was getting the color perfect.

Dream Catcher

This project is my most favorite project I have done and I think it came out great at the end. I made this for my mom because she is the one thing in life I cannot live without. I feel very successful on this piece because I tried hard and it was my first time using ink. Pretty much everything worked out except I messed up on the wording because the ink smeared. I wish I would have put a background behind the dream catcher, maybe a blue sky but I am still proud of it. The most difficult part was using the ink and not smearing it and flinging it everywhere. Using the ink was something new for me and I enjoyed the competition :)

Clay projects

I decided to make three clay projects this year. I made a tiger for my friend, a bowl for my grandma and grandpa, and a bowl for my mom and step dad. I was excited for this project because I think that the clay project is the most fun project we have. I feel like I did good on them and put my time into them trying to make them look the best i could. Not everything worked like how I meant to make a cup for my mom and step dad and it turned out to be a bowl because I made it a little too big. If I were to do this project over again I would have made the "bowl" smaller so I could have the cup I wanted. The most difficult part was shaping the clay exactly how I wanted it. I learned hot to mold easier.

Adventure Time

I did this project just for the heck of it and dont even like the show but decided that
I am not that bad at drawing the characters. I feel that I didnt do too bad but I could have done better. Using chalk to color was challenging because it smeared easily. If I could do this project over I would change what i use to color it to colored pencil. I learned how chalk works and how easily it smears.

Anchor Down

This is my second favorite projects of this year. I feel very good about this drawing because at first I didnt think I could do it but I tried and I did. It was difficult to master the tentacles but I made it work out after a few tries. If I had to redue this I would not make any changes because I think its good how it is. I didnt really learn anything on this project.

Hat on boots

I think this is one of my best projects yet. I feel very successful because it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. Everything worked good but the details were a little difficult to complete. If I were to do this project all over again I would probably put something in the background to make up more of the picture. I learned how to add a little more details to this drawing.

Rugrats

I think that this was a cute project and I did it because I use to watch the Rugrats show all the time as a kid. I think I did good on this and on making it look like the characters but If I could i would change the back ground. Everything else seemed to work for me. the most difficult part finishing this was getting the right colors. I learned how much work it actually takes to draw the characters and getting them exactly how you they look.

Roped anchor

I thought that this project was fun and one of my favorites. I feel very successful on this because I tried to make it the best I could. I would say that everything seemed to work. If i were to do this project all over again I would fix the rope a little but. The most difficult part completing this was making the edges perfect and the size. I learned how to draw an anchor.

I think that this piece was challenging and had taken some time. I feel like i did good on this project and did good on the details. Drawing exactly how the rope twisted was kind of hard but i got it to work. If I could do this project over again I would add more rope to it. The most difficult part was getting the details of how the rope twisted. I learned how a rope is formed.
